Parking

This page is only for visitors to medical physics. All other visitors should contact Hock Plaza security desk directly at 919-286-7668.

Duke personnel can walk or take a shuttle bus (e.g. H-5 shuttle runs from Duke South and Duke North to Hock every 15 minutes.) For off-campus visitors, there is free parking if you have pre-registered with building security (see next section for who to contact for registration) in the parking deck immediately behind the building. Enter through the covered driveway on Erwin Rd near the right front side of the building, and drive all the way to the back to enter the parking deck. Do not park in the front ungated area which is reserved for coffee shop customers and building management only, otherwise you will be ticketed. Drive through to the back of the entry level of the parking deck to the gates. Push the white intercom button and tell them your name and that you're visiting the medical physics program. After you park, come back to level 4 of the garage which is the main lobby level.

Enter the Hock Plaza lobby which is actually level 3 of the building. You will then go down the elevator to level 1 of the building where the medical physics program is located, or the ground floor (level G) if you are going to the auditorium such as for the medical physics seminars.
