Hock Plaza is located just off the Duke campus near the intersection of Erwin Rd and Douglas St / Research Dr, next to a BP gas station and across Erwin Rd from the Medical Sciences Research Building (MSRB) and the Duke Eye Center.
Both the Duke Advanced Imaging Labs (DAILabs) and Medical Physics Graduate Program are located in Hock Plaza.

From the west (Chapel Hill), take 15-501 N to Durham, exit at Moreene Road, take right onto Moreene, go through 1 light immediately, the next light is Erwin Road. Take left on Erwin and pass 2 lights at Lasalle Street and Research Drive. Immediately after Research Drive / Douglas St. you will see Hock Plaza on your left.
From the east (Raleigh), take I-40 to Durham Fwy 147 and exit at 15B Fulton St. Turn left on Fulton St and go through 1 light, turn right at next light onto Erwin Rd. Hock Plaza is on your right just before you reach the next light at Research Dr / Douglas St.

There is free parking for pre-registered visitors (see next section for who to contact for registration) in the parking deck immediately behind the building. Enter through the covered driveway on Erwin Rd near the right front side of the building, and drive all the way to the back to enter the parking deck. (Do not park in the front ungated area which is reserved for coffee shop customers and building management only, otherwise you will be ticketed.) Drive through to the back of the entry level of the parking deck to the gates. Push the white intercom button and tell them your name and whether you're visiting Duke Advanced Imaging Labs or the medical physics program. After you park, come back to level 4 of the garage which is the main lobby level. If visiting Duke Advanced Imaging Labs, come back on the driveway and take the next door after you pass the Port City Java coffee shop. If visiting the medical physics program, enter the Hock Plaza lobby which is actually level 3 of the building. You will then go down the elevator to level 1 of the building where the medical physics program is located, or the ground floor (level G) if you are going to the auditorium such as for the medical physics seminars. |
