Seminars in Medical Physics (MEDPHY 251)                           — Fall 2009

Our flagship course, MEDPHY 251 Seminars in Medical Physics, is a weekly seminar where program faculty and students gather. The course is co-instructed by Joseph Lo, Mark Oldham, and Paul Segars. Please see the current and past seminar schedules by selecting the semester links in the navigation bar above.

Our diverse programming includes cutting edge research, debates on hot topics, special topics not covered in core courses (e.g., biostatistics, biophotonics), national conference previews, and workshops on professional skills. Our speakers are comprised of researchers, physicians, clinical physicists, and notable visiting faculty including many prestigious chairs and directors.

Students: For permission codes, please contact program coordinator Olga Baranova PhD and identify your department and grad/prof student status. Per registrar policies, undergraduates may not register for such partial credit courses. Regardless of that, we have a large auditorium, so everybody is welcome!

Thursdays 2:50-4:00 PM, Hock Plaza Auditorium unless otherwise noted
(followed by Med Phys Program happy hour 4-5 PM)
