Scott Floyd, MD, PhD (Radiation Oncology), has been named an Associate Radiation Oncology Director of the Duke Center for Brain and Spine Metastases (DCBSM). Dr. Floyd will lead the basic and translational effort in CNS Radiation Oncology research, development of clinical trials involving imaging and the integration of novel systemic agents with radiation therapy, develop new therapies and deliver improved outcomes for our patients with brain and spine metastases. Therefore, Dr. Floyd will mentor students, residents and early-career staff who will help leading the fight against metastatic disease.
