Lafata Wins NCHPS and Duke Awards

MS Student Kyle Lafata won First Place at the Student Research Competition of the North Carolina Health Physics Society (NCHPS) meeting held at Carolina Beach on Mar 5-6, 2015. The title of his research is: ” Image-Guided Dosimetric Planning for Injectable Brachytherapy based on ELP Nanoparticles.” Lafata was also Physics poster winner at the 2015 Duke Cancer Institute Radiation Oncology and Imaging Program’s Annual Retreat held on March 16. Congratulations on this double honor!
