PhD student Ashlyn Rickard (advisor Dr. Gregory Palmer) was recognized with the TOP 3 Poster Award at the Annual Retreat of the Duke Radiation Oncology & Imaging Program (ROIP) for her work titled “Tumor oxygen is predictive of therapeutic response in mice: A novel application of diffuse reflectance spectroscopy.” Ashlyn’s study investigates the effect of combining anti-PD-L1 immunotherapy with radiotherapy and tumor oxygenation measurements as indicator of tumor response in mice.
