Ehsan Samei, PhD, DABR, FAAPM, FSPIE, has been named as the new director of the Duke Medical Physics Graduate Program. Dr. Samei helped to establish our program in 2004 and served as Director of Graduate Studies for the first 7 years. He is a tenured professor of radiology, physics, biomedical engineering, and electrical and computer engineering. He also serves as the director of the Carl E. Ravin Advanced Imaging Laboratories and the founding chief of the Clinical Imaging Physics Group. More information will be forthcoming as he assumes this new position on July 1.
