Samuel Brady Wins Lutz Moritz Memorial Award

Our recent graduate, Samuel Brady PhD, received the first Lutz Moritz Memorial Award at the Health Physics Society annual meeting in Salt Lake City, Utah. This award is given annually to a promising health physics student who has submitted an outstanding talk or poster on accelerator radiation protection. The award, which includes a cash award and plaque, was created to honor Lutz Moritz, Canada’s leading expert on accelerator radiation safety and a respected teacher and researcher in the field of accelerator health physics.
