Program Student Yilin Liu (PhD ’16) received the “2015 National Award for Outstanding Self-financed Chinese Students Studying Abroad” by China Scholarship Council. This award was founded by the Chinese government with the purpose of rewarding the academic excellence of Chinese students receiving scholarships to study overseas. The award presentation ceremony and reception were held in the presence of Minister, Mr. Li Kexin, and Minister Counselor of Education, Mr. Cen Jianjun, at the Education Office of the Chinese Embassy, Washington DC.
