James Bowsher Ph.D., program faculty member and Director of Graduate Studies for our Duke Kunshan University (DKU) medical physics program in China, has been selected for the Jiangsu Province’s 100-Talent Plan by the Jiangsu Foreign Expert Bureau. The 100-Talent Plan is a provincial initiative to attract 100 internationally recognized foreign experts to Jiangsu Province, which provides funding to these experts in carrying out their cutting-edge research and development projects. Dr. Bowsher is among the 30 experts who received the award this year, and the only one from the newly established joint venture DKU. A statement from the DKU Chancellor’s Office said, “This is not only a great honor for his personal academic achievement, but also a remarkable milestone for the development of DKU.”
