2nd year MS student Mats Fredrickson won the student paper competition at the NC Health Physics Society Spring Meeting, held on Mar 3-4, 2011, in Chapel Hill, NC. His paper was entitled “Can the Ludlum Portal Monitor be used for Screening Populations from Radiological Terrorism Events?” Congratulations to Mats and his advisor, Terry Yoshizumi.
