Program Director Jim Dobbins today wrote in an email to the program, “One of our distinguished faculty members, Ron Jaszczak, is soon retiring after a stellar career. I’m sure you will join me in congratulating Ron for his numerous accomplishments in nuclear medicine and for his very productive career on the faculty at Duke. Ron is one of the giants in the field of nuclear medicine physics, and his presence will be missed. We are fortunate to have had someone of Ron’s caliber associated with our graduate program, and I send him our best wishes for retirement on behalf of the entire program.”
