Belley Wins Student Paper Competition

For the 3rd year in a row, a Duke student has won first place in the student paper competition at the North Carolina Health Physics Society (NCHPS). This year the honor went to 2nd year PhD student Matthew Belley for his paper entitled “Cs-137 and 320kVp orthovoltage small animal irradiator organ dose comparison using Monte Carlo Methods” (advisor: Terry Yoshizumi). The meeting was held at Carolina Beach, NC on Feb 28 to March 1, 2013.
