Lei Ren, PhD (Radiation Oncology, Class 2009) was recently promoted to Professor in Radiation Oncology. Dr. Ren is currently an at-large member of the Medical Physics Administrative Council (MPAC), and is serving on different committees at both AAPM and ASTRO. His research interests include imaging dose reduction, novel image reconstruction methods, deformable image registration, image synthesis, image augmentation, 4D imaging, development and application of AI in image-guided radiation therapy (IGRT). His lab has been funded by both industry and federal grants.
