Radiating Hope: Sansone raises money for radiation oncology equipment in Tanzania

One student already knows what he’s going to be doing after graduation. Second year MS student Patrick Sansone will summit Mt. Kilimanjaro, the tallest mountain in Africa!

Sansone will partner with Radiating Hope, a non-profit organization dedicated to increasing access to radiation oncology services worldwide. As part of this experience, he is fundraising for the purchase and installation of cancer center equipment in Moshi, Tanzania. Kilimanjaro stands at over 19,000 feet tall. Therefore, he is asking for support in his efforts by donating $19.00 – one dollar for every 1000 feet that he will be climbing. To put that in perspective, $19 is 4 times the average daily wage in Tanzania, meaning all donations go much further!

100% of all donations goes directly to radiation oncology equipment in Tanzania. No gift is too small!
