Right after graduating from our program, Patrick Sansone MS summited Mount Kilimanjaro, the tallest mountain in Africa. Sansone undertook the climb as part of a fundraising effort supporting Radiating Hope, a non-profit organization dedicated to increasing access to radiation oncology services worldwide.
“Kilimanjaro was the single hardest physical challenge I have ever undertaken,” Sansone reported. “Furthermore, it was nothing short of a privilege to climb with both radiation oncologists and those who have beaten cancer, all of whom are passionate about the same cause: increasing global access to cancer care. I look forward to my next trip with Radiating Hope!”
