Das Begins as Editor (Therapy Physics) of Medical Physics

The Medical Physics journal recently named 3 new editors: Jeff Williamson as Editor-in-Chief, Mitch Goodsitt as Editor for Medical Imaging Physics, and our faculty member Shiva Das PhD has begun his new term as Editor of Radiation Therapy Physics. Under this new system, Dr. Das will play a very active role in overseeing all of the radiation therapy content of the journal. Although his role doesn’t officially begin until Jan 1, he has already been transitioning into these new duties for the past few months. Dr. Das is Professor of Radiation Oncology at Duke. In addition to his busy clinical and research schedule, he also teaches MEDPHY 722 Advanced Photon Beam Radiation Therapy Physics, which is one of the required core courses for our program.
