Dobbins Presentation Featured at RSNA

Program Director Dr. Jim Dobbins gave a talk today at the annual meeting of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) on digital tomosynthesis for lung nodule detection. His presentation was featured in the RSNA Bulletin, which highlights each day’s most newsworthy events at this mammoth conference. “Our results clearly demonstrate that tomosynthesis is far superior to conventional radiography for looking at lung nodules,” said Dr. Dobbins. With over 53,000 registered attendees from 100+ countries, RSNA is not only far and away the biggest diagnostic imaging meeting, but also the largest medical conference in the world. It takes place every year right after Thanksgiving in Chicago. There are over 4,000 scientific presentations, education exhibits, and refresher courses, not to mention over 400,000 sq. ft. of technical exhibits where imaging companies show off their latest technological innovations.
